Obituary of Lloyd Stewart
With heavy hearts, the family of Lloyd Stewart, husband of the late Nora (Craig) Stewart, announce his passing on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence, following a period of failing health. Born March 12, 1933 in Saint John, he was a son of the late William and Helena (Snodgrass) Stewart.
Lloyd worked for many years at B. P. Heating as a Sheet Metal Worker. He was also the previous owner of Stewart’s Delivery.
Lloyd will be missed by his daughters, Pamela Stewart, Sharon Nurse, Gail Martin (Reid) and Carol Hannan (Al); sons, Michael Stewart (Star) and Brian Stewart (June); sisters: Betty Salter (Murray), Sandra Gould, and Mary Lou Stewart; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons. Besides his parents and his wife, Nora, Lloyd was predeceased by his brothers: Jackie Stewart, Billy Stewart, Bob Stewart and Ronnie Stewart; sisters, Gerry Barry and Shirley Wooden.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Due to the current health advisories, a private family interment will take place in August.
