Obituary of Elizabeth "May" Lavigne

Elizabeth “May” Lavigne passed away at Fundy Nursing Home, Black’s Harbour, NB on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Born in Saint John, NB on November 13, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Roberta (Mullin) Saunders.

May is survived by her daughters Becky Cormier (the late David) and Jannette Lignos (the late Leo); her son Arthur Walker (Charlene); 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She will be especially missed by her granddaughter Billi-Jo Yelle (Jeremy) and 2 great-grandchildren from New York.

In addition to her parents, May was predeceased by her husband Gordon Lavigne and her son David Joseph Walker.

May loved music, old comedy movies and days spent relaxing at the camp.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Interment will be held at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church Cemetery at a later date.
