To The Tobias Family,
My sincere sympathy is with your family during this time. I remember as a child, going with my father, Samuel Peacock, to Avis Rent-a-Car where they both worked. Harold attended my father's funeral and I would like to extend my prayers to your family in your loss, especially during this pandemic, which is making grieving all the more difficult.

We were very saddened to read of Harold's passing. Our sincerest sympathies to you and your families. We had many good times at the airport and airline functions with Harold and Jo. We also had the opportunity to obtain several good used vehicles through him, especially our first Impala in which our sons learned to drive and transport their friends around. He had a great sense of humour. Take care. George and Lorraine Crawley

Dear Joanne and family
Your Dad and I went back to the 60s when I worked with Harold at Avis. Harold was my boss and was very kind to me. He did love his golf and pool.
He always had a story and a great sense of humour. I have missed him over the past few years but spoke of him often.
A lot of people have lost a good friend

I am so sad to hear of Harold's passing. He was such a lovely, kind, generous man, always with a smile. I have such fond memories of playing cards, parties and golfing. When he was in the hospital with his heart, and Jo was on another floor, I went to visit him in the ICU and told them I was his girlfriend and not to say anything to his wife. Harold, Jo and I had a great laugh over the way the nurse reacted. Such fun times. My prayers are with his family at this time. RIP in Harold

I first met Harold in 1978 during my University days when I became the weekend rental guy at Tilden rent a car.
Many years later I took over Avis when Harold retired.
I'll always remember Harold for his dry wit and great sense of humor.
He was always engaged in and was a great promoter of the Saint John region.
He will be fondley remembered.
