My condolences to all Therese's family. I only knew her when I was a child many years ago, but I always thought she was a lovely and kind person, and I always enjoyed visiting at their house on Princess St and their cottage by the river. Many of my favorite childhood memories involve George and Therese and their children. My best to you all.

Whoops. I guess it was Therese’s mother who was a Horgan. I misread that. Know that she was widely loved, a rare, kind soul. Much love to you all.

I still remember Therese most vividly as a young lawyer appearing frequently in Provincial Court and Therese as the highly competent court stenographer who I learned was also a Barry and my father's first cousin. I would later run into her at Chateau Champlain still greeting me in her low key quiet sedate lady like manner. A life well lived with highs and lows accepted as a part of her journey. Condolences to her family

To Thereses family, I can only imagine how much you will miss your Mum. I worked up stairs from her in Justice. Theresa was the kindest and so soft spoken. She was such a hard worker also. You will miss her

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is hard to say good-bye to our last parent. Now we are truly the adults. Therese was one of my favourite adults when I was a child, and that says a lot for the kind way she always treated people. She was an exemplary person and I always looked up to her. George Sr and Dad (Patrick Brown) were best friends and I always enjoyed the times our families spent together as a result. I remember our whole family going to what I think was your summer camp. I remember it had a porch that wrapped around it, and some bars where John and Monica taught me to do front and back flips on them. That was the day Therese introduced me to peaches. I’d never seen or eaten one before, and I didn’t know what to make of biting into a fuzzy food, but she assured me I would enjoy it. Of course she was right. She sent us home with a basket of them as well. I will always associate that memory of her with that place. I remember I always thought she was my God mother and that my mother was Monica’s God mother, so, especially since we’re the same age, I thought that meant Monica and I were God sisters. I think I found out later that it was my younger sister who had Therese as a God mother. I see that her maiden name was Horgan and it makes me wonder if my friend Gail Horgan’s father might have happened to be the one of the brothers mentioned in her obituary. That would make Gail Horgan a first cousin for Liz, John and Monica. I can’t help wondering if Gail Emerson who left a condolence is Gail Horgan Emerson. It would be a small world indeed, if so. It was a very nice obituary. I hope you are all well. Hugs to all of you, though I confess I cannot bring Liz to mind and only have clear memories of John, Monica, George Sr and Therese. Sending much love and kind wishes your way.
