Obituary of Patricia Bingham

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Patricia Geraldine (Pye) Bingham announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 6, 1943, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Byrne) Pye.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Suzanne Marr Robinson and Heidi Bingham; sisters-in-law Paulette Bingham, Dawn Pye, Shirley Yabsley, Debbie Pattman (Jim), and Helen Pye; grandchildren Jodi Voutour, Stacey Robins (Mike), and Scott Voutour; great-grandchildren Shianne Marchan, Evallie Robins, Isaac Bosch, and Zachary Perry; and her aunt Ruth Hughes.

Aside from her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her loving husband, of 29 years, Frederick “Clint” Bingham; infant daughter Sonia Pye; sister Cleo Brule; brothers Bernard, Donald, and Douglas Pye; sisters-in-law Violet Pye, Heather Brooks, and Sonia Pye; brothers-in-law Garry Brooks, Reg Yabsley, and David Bingham; and son-in-law George Robinson.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and her bonus children (all the Pye kids). She was an avid knitter, always with something on the needles, always ready for an adventure in the car or even going to the casinos in her wheelchair. You could always find her catching up with people on the phone, with the ladies auxiliary, or playing darts at the Branch 87 Legion. Most of all, she loved her family. She will be reunited with the love of her life.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, N.B. (634-7424). Due to the restrictions of the current pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. A private service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
