To family members
I wish to offer my most sincere condolences to you all in the recent passing of Selena. I have had the absolute privilege of knowing Selena for many many years through working with her in Sunday school at Calvary Temple. Selena always put the children first and she had a great gift of being able to guide and teach all levels of children and that was her true calling. She loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. I am positive Selena will receive many rewards in heaven for her tireless work while here on earth. Good job Selena for a job well done! May you enjoy heaven to the fullest extent!

Peter, Susan and family, Laura and I are so very sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of first meeting Selena about 23 years ago. It was also approximately at that time that Laura independently met her. Selena's determination, creativity, and passion to serve for the Lord were inspiring. Her seemingly tireless work with children transformed so many lives. In the last several years we have been deeply encouraged by Selena sharing her faith and reassurance with us. Her trust has firmly been in God alone. We rejoice that we know Selena is now in the presence of her Lord. "‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’" (Matthew 25:21)
