To the Family of Bruce McCanse,
We were sorry learn of Bruce's passing and extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences for your loss. We first met Bruce through the Royal United Services Institute of New Brunswick when we held our monthly luncheon meetings at the Officers' Mess at the Barrack Green Armoury. After that initial meeting, we started seeing him and his lovely wife, Theresa, each Sunday at church.
When I learned a bit about his military career I invited him to be the Reviewing Officer for the annual Service of Remembrance on November 11th at Harbour Station (now TD Station). I was proud of him that day taking the salute in front of 6,500+ in the arena.
We are grateful to have had the privilege of knowing Bruce and to have personally thanked him as a Korean War Veteran and for his service to his country.
Out caring thoughts and prayers are with you all as you cherish the many memories of him and as you reflect on his life and many contributions.
