Obituary of Colette Marie Martin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Colette Mary Martin of New Brunswick announce the passing of our beloved Colette, which occurred on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Tracadie, NB, she was the daughter of Stella Arsenault and the late Wilfred Arsenault and the late Alcide Ferron.

Colette is survived by her son, Don Bizeau (Ashley); her step-son, Andrew Martin; her sisters: Susan Daly (Ed), Patsy Cunningham (Rob), and Kathy Glew (Wayne); and her brothers: Darren Arsenault (Lorrieanne), Rene Ferron (Paula), Roland Ferron (Ann), and Yvonne Ferron (Gayle); brother-in-law, Rick Jennings (Nicky- predeceased); her five grandchildren: Lily, Kolby, Adrian, Lacey, and Hannah; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.

Colette was the loving wife to the late Bertrand Martin. She was truly an inspiration of strong will, determination, and to keep strong when times get hard and to never give up. She will surely be missed by all who had the chance to meet and love her.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Due to current health advisories regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date when friends and family can gather.
