Shirley, Dave, Luanne, Brian, Kathy, Kim, Marc, and sweet Lauren,
I am so grateful that I had the pleasure of meeting Bill and all of you. I enjoyed him stopping by the office to chat, he would always start off with saying, “I know how buys you are so I won’t stay long”……….
He always spoke so highly and lovingly about all of you that it warmed my heart to listen to his stories and to hear how proud he was. When Bill left this world, he took a piece of each of you with him, but always remember, he left that best pieces of him behind in each of you. May God hold you close during these times, today and everyday. Sending hugs and prayers.

Condolences Brian and Mrs Munro,
Gonna miss seeing Bill at the tennis courts at Shamrock Park. He was part of the old Tennis diehards that would show up every summer and hog the tennis courts .He was always a Gentleman to talk to and interested in how one was making out in life. I know he was proud of the accomplishments of his family as he reminded me every spring when tennis season started with a twinkle in his eye.... I believe he thought this would give him the added advantage once he got you on the court to destroy you with his one legged cross court forehands. Rest easy Bill.

Dear Shirley and family: Bonnie and I are so saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. I remember him fondly. I first met Bill over 60 years ago when I was young boy, and he visited my father’s grocery store as a sales representative for G.E. Barbour. I remember he always had a treat and a kind word for me. As an adult, we would meet occasionally, and he always had time to chat and catch up. Bill was a special person, loved and respected by so many for his integrity, intelligence, humor, honesty and kindness. We were blessed to have known him and have good and lasting memories.
Please accept our sincere condolences.

This is sad news. As long as I can remember I have known Bill. He was a constant. Whenever I got home to St. Mary’s, I always knew where I would find him - in the back row on the right side. But more importantly, I always knew how I would find him - friendly, warm, ebullient, the sort of fellow one was always glad to have met. I was often struck that he treated me with the same regard when I was 15 as he did when I was 55. That was just Bill’s way.
My deepest condolences to Shirley and the children, and prayers for peace and consolation.
