I was looking for the address of two dear friends of mine - Glenn and Dianna Cannon and saw the obituary for Benn Cannon. I was born in Saint John and know the Cannon family very well. My dad, Jim Brown worked with Stan Cannon moving furniture when I was a kid. I have so many fond memories of all the Cannon family and will always hold those memories dear in my heart. I've been living in Winnipeg, Manitoba since 1971 and my mind often drifts to my roots in Saint John. My late wife, Fran and Dianna Cannon were very close friends. Of course, I knew Benn since I was a kid so I was surprised and so saddened to read of Benn's passing. it is the hope of the resurrection and Jehovah's promise of such that is a true hope.
