Obituary of Darla O'Neill

With mournful hearts and appreciation for our years together, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Darla Ann (Lansdale) O’Neill, on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 4, 1950 in Moncton, NB she was the only daughter of Earnest Edward and Lela Mabel (Hopper) Lansdale.

Darla found great comfort in her Baha’i faith, and welcomed the comfort of fellowship with others.

Darla will be deeply missed by her children: Sean O’Neill (Natalie Smith O’Neill) and Christopher O’Neill (Bronwyn Graves); cherished granddaughter, Charlotte Avery Smith O’Neill; brothers: David Lansdale (Marlene Lansdale), Richard Lansdale (Paula Lansdale) and Robin Lansdale; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
