Obituary of Ann Pedersen
It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Margaret Pedersen announce her sudden passing on February 26, 2021 at the |Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 3, 1949 in Campbell River, BC, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Bowes) Steele.
Ann worked for many years as a caretaker which included working many night shifts. She was always taking care of someone. Ann was born with the rare innate knowledge that she was the captain of her own ship. She was very empowered with great wisdom that far surpassed her schooling. She was an avid bingo player as well as an amazing gardener – she especially loved her greens haha! Ann had an indescribable love and loyalty to her family and loved ones. She would go above and beyond for her children, grandchildren and partner, Graham. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ann leaves behind her loving partner, Graham Teare; sons, Andrew and Dwayne Spencer; grandchildren, Sara Cox, Andrew Spencer Jr., Mecah Spencer, Justin Alaby, Dillon Spencer, Codie Felthan, Jordan Spencer, Kyla Beechin, Taylor Cosman, Grace Wright, Jean-Luc Desjardins, Kyle Goguen and Curtis D’Entremont; several great-grandchildren; step-children, Sheri and Kim Best, Colleen Spencer (Keith) and Michelle Logan (James); as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Ann was also predeceased by her youngest son, Michael Spencer and her siblings.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
