"Uncle Donnie" will certainly be missed. I can remember walking from Bayside Jr High to Nannie Ramsay's every lunch hour. As soon as I made the turn on to Edith Avenue, if Uncle Donnie's truck was there, I walked a bit faster to ensure that I didn't miss him. He had such a great sense of humor and was always tormenting. I gave it back as much as he dished it out. When I think of Uncle Donnie, folded down rubber boots always comes to mind.
He was the only person that could get away with calling me Cathy in front of my mother.
He always held a special place in my heart and will certainly be missed.
