Obituary of Jim Thibodeau

The family of Jim Thibodeau, husband of the late Betty (Love), announces his passing on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at his residence, following a period of failing health. Born November 3, 1935 in St. Martins, where he lived his whole life, he was a son of the late Jessie (Godsoe) and Eddie Thibodeau.

Jim will be missed by his children: Michelle (John Wallace), Rob, Ken, and Theresa McDaniel (Doug); daughter-in-law, Beverly; grandchildren: Jamie, Ben, David, Dennis, and Katie; great-grandchildren: Adalyn and Alaina; his siblings: Joe (Fran), Frances Bjornson (George), Joan Wibberley (Jim), Edwina Earle (Curtis), and Dan (Darlene), as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides his parents and his wife, Betty, Jim was predeceased by his son, Andrew.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment will take place in St. Martins at a later date when family is able to gather together.
