My sincere condolences to the family. Doris and I served many terms together on the executive and negotiating committees of CUPE3339. She was dedicated to both the university and her fellow staff members. She was a generous and caring person who weathered her share of challenges and came through with head held high. She was an excellent example of resilience to all those who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Doris's passing.She will always be remembered by us as fun loving and full of mischief. We knew her favorite pie was apple after visiting her in Red Head to make 35 of them for her freezer and one to eat that day. She loved going out to dinner and trying new things. Always out and about with her loving dog in the Jeep. She was famous for being late but we knew she would not change and nor would we have wanted her to. Heaven will be a better place with her in it.
