Al was a remarkable & humble man with a great sense of humor. Adored his family
. Great sense of humor. We enjoyed many rounds of golf @ Welsford Golf course together. Thanks to a chat while golfing, we heard about the plan to travel to Zambia for a Habitat for Humanity house build . Had an amazing 2008 journey. He will be missed. Sure hope he & Nina are reunited in the great beyond.

Yes, how he LOVED to golf. Last summer he walked part of the Welsford golf course with me as I attempted to golf for the first time, giving me many tips. Think he gave up on at the 4th hole Lol.
It is so nice to read how he shared with you all of what meant so much to him. Indeed he was a remarkable man!

Sorry to hear about Al's passing. I worked with him on Thursday nights at Grand Bay Guardian. He was always pleasant and could make me laugh. I enjoyed listening to his stories from his RCMP days. He loved talking about his family and going home to Nina, (for his version of Beef Barley Soup.) LOL ! He brought in pictures of himself (before the accident) to show me how handsome he had been. He still was a handsome man. I admired his daily swim routine and golfing stories. I remember going to get a sundae at the Dairy Queen for his supper. He was a good man! Roma Gigou

I remember Al coming daily to visit Nina when she lived in Simms Court, Tucker Hall. Even if we were on a lockdown Al would be at Nina's window. Heather,
I think of your Mom often, especially when we're playing Bingo & I22 comes up - your Mom's favorite number. Cyber hugs to all. Cherish your memories & they'll still be with you.
