Born and raised in West Saint John, NB. Shortly after graduating from St.Malachy’s High School ( Class of 1975), he married his high school sweetheart Fran , and were married for 43 wonderful years. Although their work careers took them to various cities in NB and Ontario, they maintained a very close bond with both family and lifelong friends.
Upon graduating from The University of Waterloo in software development, his career spanned 35 years, 21 of which were at Rogers Communications head office in Toronto.
Pat loved sports, both as a participant and a fan. He excelled at Lacrosse where he represented New Brunswick three times at the national level (Founders Cup). A very passionate golfer, he enjoyed many years golfing with his Sage League buddies in Toronto, and more recently as a member of The Riverside Country Club. He rarely missed cheering on his beloved Red Sox’s, Bruins, Colts, and The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. A most cherished memory was attending a live Notre Dame game with his great friend, the late Eddie Hogan. Very proud of his Irish culture, and a great student of Irish history, he loved travelling to Ireland to visit his ancestry! So a “Slainte” toast to you dear Pat! Your kindness, generosity, and loving nature will remain in our hearts forever!
