Condolences from the Goggan family. Our cottage was only two over from Ken and Zora, and my father, Jim, also worked at Lantic Sugar. Mostly I remember playing with Ricky, exploring the woods or swimming off the dock and swim platform Ken built. I remember Ken bringing home an old white conveyor belt to cover the dock, and building a playhouse for Ricky. It seemed at the time he never stopped working. I hope he is reunited with everyone he loved. Thank you Ken for being such a good neighbour.

Sending love and condolences to Uncle Ken's close family and friends.
Growing up in Sudbury, Ontario I unfortunately only had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Ken and Aunt Val on a few occasions, but always found them to be warm and lovely people.
My dad, Bob (Robert) always spoke of his big brother Ken with great affection.

Our sincere condolences and prayers to the family of Uncle Ken at this sad time. I have many good memories of visits with Aunt Zora and Uncle Ken growing up and also visiting at Mom and Dad’s ( Norval and Eva Kincade) There were many laughs, sharing of stories and similar interests. Later on in life, Uncle Ken would get that mischievous grin just before teasing my husband, Michael, and his eyes would twinkle as he waited for a reaction. He was a true gentleman who loved his family and friends, we will miss you Uncle Ken. RIP. Caroline and Michael

Have such wonderful memories of Uncle Ken and Aunt Zora over the years. They would come up to visit us at the farm in Belleisle and we would have fun with our cousin Ricky and more often than not, other cousins, Aunts and Uncles would come to visit at the same time, instigating a ball game in the field, hockey game on the Bay, after we scrapped a rink big enough, or maybe some fun in the barn tramping the hay.
Many memories of going out to their summer cottage on the Lake. In later years it was always great to visit with them when there was a family function that was being celebrated.
My sincere condolences to his grandchildren Terri and Kenny

Uncle Ken was a great man I have so many wonderful memories of him coming up to the farm on weekends and taking me trout fishing. Later in life, when I was home on vacation, I would go to Aunt Zora and Uncle Ken's cottage and he and I would play horse shoes. We both loved to win. I will always remember his big smile and wonderful laugh. (when he won). I am going to miss you Uncle Ken.

My condolences to Uncle Ken’s grand children and great grand children and to all those who were especially close to him. I saw Ken frequently when he and Aunt Zora visited with my parents Norval and Eva Kincade. He and Dad enjoyed many discussions about politics, they did not always share the same opinions so it made for lively conversations. Uncle Ken was a man with a keen intelligent mind who enjoyed a good discussion. Rest In Peace.

Uncle Ken and I have many memories because after Aunt Zora passed away I was there to take care of him . They lived in Brentwood Towers and Terri his granddaughter , my sister and I moved him to Chateau de Champlain to live . It was a smaller room and we felt he could socialize more . I would help with his doctor appointments and groceries . During 2018 or 2019 Uncle Ken wanted to go for a drive up to where he grew up at . We left one morning and turned off at Hampton , across to Long Point Ferry and swung at Hatfield Point to go across to Cambridge Narrows . We were driving along and Uncle Ken said you're driving to fast which I have heard different times in the past . He said there's a tree along here that I use to play in with a friend when I was 12 years old . All of a sudden he said there it is which shocked me because that tree is a lot bigger now . I stopped and went up the driveway and he said no its the house over there . I went down and up the next driveway . As we drove in a man and his wife was getting in their car . The man came over and believe it or not he was the same person he played in the tree with when he was 12 years old . We left there , travelled on and went down another road and ended up being I believe the second house he lived in when he was young . The family invited us in and had a great visit . We left there and drove to Sussex and ate at A & W which was his favorite spot . Then back to his home we went .On December 2/2019 Ken was taken to the hospital . He remained there until March 27/2020 until we got a room at Shannex . He was well loved there and they called him Poppa . I have many great memories of Uncle Ken especially when my middle name is after him . Rest In Peace

Grampy told me this story during one of my visits with him. He was so happy to have the opportunity to go back to where he grew up and talk with someone he once played with. Thank you so much for giving him this.

We always celebrated Aunt Zora's birthday the last few years. Uncle Ken loved that . Royden, Marilyn, Dave and I would go for a couple of hours . It was always a fun visit. Such a great memory. We were fortunate to have such wonderful uncles and he is our last one. We will miss you, but you are now with your family.

I loved Ken and Vel so very much. They were two of my favorite people in the world and I think they knew that. One of the stories I always tell about Ken to explain the type of man he was is this: I destroyed both of his wooden row boats by dragging them on rocks and he just laughed. The following year he bought aluminum.

It is indeed sad news to learn of Uncle Ken's death.
I am one of the 6 children of Uncle Ken's sister Arlene Todd who married Réal Tessier, a young man from Sudbury. We Tessiers form part of the Northern Ontario branch of the New Brunswick Todd family, and always welcomed visits and news of our Todd Aunts and Uncles and cousins from down East. And many of us have enjoyed our own trips to the Maritimes to spend time with the Todds. Uncle Ken and Aunt Val were always part of those visits, and we enjoyed their welcome and hospitality.
Uncle Tommy is now the last of our Mother's generation of 9 Todd children from Saint John, NB. I want to send him my heartfelt condolences for the sad loss of his brother, and last living sibling. I also extend my condolences to the many Todd cousins and extended family, and to other family and friends, who also feel this loss. I share your grief, and wish you good memories, and peace.
Rest in peace, Uncle Ken and Aunt Val
