Obituary of David Nadolski
With very heavy hearts, the family announce the peaceful passing of David Nadolski, loving husband of Kathleen ‘Kate’ Robinson, on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital in New Brunswick. Born April 30, 1961 in Toronto, he was the son of Joseph and Czeslawa (Berezowski) Nadolski.
To all who knew David, his battle with cancer was epic. He may have lost that battle but he won the war as his life was filled to the brim with laughter and love. If you were David’s friend, you were a friend for life. His generous heart, to lend a hand or an ear, was legendary as was his quick wit and intelligence. As David was a masterful storyteller, we all have our favourite moments and ‘Dave’ sayings that will keep his spirit and memory alive until we meet with him again. We are all going to miss him like crazy.
In addition to his love and rock, Kate, David is survived by his beloved sister and nephew, Jolanta and Anthony Mojsej, as well as Kate’s large family including 7 nieces and 7 nephews to whom he was affectionately known as Davey Dave. Dave was grateful for many wonderful and constant friends including: Patrick and Kelly Robson and David’s close bud their son Quinn, Michael and Maria Januszewski, Borys and Sharon Malyczewsky, Peter Perkons and John Giancola with Deborah Hammond. He was predeceased by his parents.
David left a personal thank you note to the palliative care team at Saint John Regional Hospital, with special mention to Nurses Carolyn, Deborah and Rosanne and to Dr. Williams for their kindness and professional care. He also wished to personally thank Dr. Michael, his Oncologist.
Arrangements for cremation are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Due to current Covid health restrictions, a Celebration of David’s Life will take place at a later date, when friends and family can gather. For those who wish, remembrances to the Salvation Army, Red Cross, or volunteering time with the Canadian Cancer Society in David’s name would be dearly appreciated by the family.
