Obituary of Justin Edward Arsenault

It is with great sadness that the family of Justin Arsenault of Leduc, AB and formerly of Saint John, NB, announce his unexpected passing which occurred on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Grande Prairie, AB.  Born on June 8, 1979, he was the son of Edward Arsenault and Audrey Robins, both of Saint John.

Justin was employed as a truck driver with Ascent Transport Ltd. in Alberta.  This was a career he truly enjoyed and where many friendships were made, as Justin could make friends with anyone.  He was a huge football fan and was always loyal to his Green Bay Packers.  Justin not only enjoyed watching football, but he also enjoyed his time spent playing and coaching the sport.  Along with football, Justin also loved playing rugby.  Most of all, he treasured the times with those he loved and will always be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Justin will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Evan Arsenault (Chantai) of Saint John and Dean Arsenault of Edmonton, AB; sister, Rhonda Cromwell of Leduc, AB; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; along with his loving puppy, Jean Claw’d and many friends.  He was predeceased by his sister in infancy, Bridget; maternal grandparents, James and Beatrice Robins and paternal grandparents, Fred Arsenault and Edna LeBlanc.

Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that those planning to attend the service to please register their name and phone number at registration@brenansfh.com.  For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed and can be viewed by visiting Justin’s obituary on Brenan’s website.  Interment will take place in ocean View Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).

In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, remembrances may be made to your local food bank or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB.  Online remembrances and condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.
