Out heartfelt condolences to Karen, Bruce and family. Worked with Doris at the Lab for many years. My office was at the other end of the basement floor Then with Bruce with the Quispamsis Ambulance Brigade.. It's hard to believe so much time has passed since then And more of those who were a part of our past are dwindling. in numbers. At one time I was thinking whether or not my path with Jesus was being noticed by any others when leaving work Doris called from the Serum Depot which at that time was in the Regional Hospital do you have a moment? I replied sure always for a friend. She said She wished she had what I had. I asked what is that? She replied you have peace. I replied you too can have it Thanks to Doris I still have that peace and she's at peace now. Plus seeing Karen and Janet when they were visiting their mom at the Depot. And Bruce I still remember You and ? took me to the hospital when I was having breathing problems. Praying to my Father to give you and all the family strength and peace to remember all the best times and there were many. And on my side a lot. Due to covid and difficulty in walking I will be unable to attend in person but will on line. God bless..

I am so sorry Karen and Janet, your mum always spoke so highly of you both and all of her family. I didn’t know her for long, only a couple of years but she was amazing. She was loved by so many, and she touched so many peoples lives she will never be forgotten. She had to go because my mum needed her in heaven, she was obviously missing her friend. My heart is with you, i know what you’re going through as i am still going through it. Cry and let yourself grieve, you only get one mum in life and yours was pretty damn spectacular. xo

Dear Karen and Janet i am sorry for the loss of your dear Mom.So many memories and one comes to mind. She was learning to drive and the best teacher was your Dad. Cannot remember the make of the car other than it was a standard shift. Tricky to learn to say the least. Heather and I sat and watched ,her lesson was quickly ended. No harm done and never heard your Dad say a word. My prayers for strength and peace I send for you Karen and Janet. Rest in sweet peace Doris.

Sad to see the passing of Doris online today. She and her family lived next door to my parents and me when I was a very young girl in Pamdenec during the summer. It was always wonderful to meet her somewhere in the drug store or Sobeys in later years in Grand Bay. She always told me I was her favourite and that made me smile. She was such a kind person. Sending sympathy to her family. Diann Cosman

We just learned of Doris’ passing. Stephen and I send our condolences to all her “treasures”. We always enjoyed our outings with Doris and Cecilia whenever we could get together. Doris was such a good sport and a great neighbor to Cecilia whom she loved to tease now and then. It was all in good fun and we had many laughs. God bless, Doris. We will certainly miss you. I loved Doris. I remember special visits with her when she would come to my parent's house . I loved seeing her when I was home at Fundamental. She always had a hug and a sweet word of encouragement. The last longer chat we had she spoke so much of her love for Jesus and all He had done for her. I know she has seen him Face to Face and she is rejoicing. I will miss her when I am able to visit again but so thankful I will see her again someday. Praying for her sweet family who I know will miss her terribly.

Dear family and friends of Doris...what a loss! For many, many years it was my privilege to pastor Doris. She was always quick with praise and gave the greatest hugs. She was a like a grandmother to my children and I was grateful to God for her. Please know our prayers are with you all as you celebrate her life and grieve her passing. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but will have everlasting life.” Based on this good news I can only say, I’ll see you soon, sister!” Herb Hunter, Knysna, South Africa

Doris, my Dad’s wife , my stepmom and friend will be truly missed my me and my family. Many happy times spent at the table over a cup of tea , talking about everything that came to our mind , many nights on the sofa staying up late watching old movies, being tucked in bed with a hot water bottle.
On her trip to Fl to visit us Rob became close with Doris too.
We wish we could be there for the service, unfortunately with Covid and flying into Canada from Fl. we are not able. Our deepest condolences to all the family. We know she is enjoying heaven with her Lord and saying hello to all .
