Obituary of Phyllis Joan Crilley

It is with broken hearts that the family of Phyllis Joan Crilley, loving wife of James Crilley, announce her passing on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ottie and Carrie (McCarthy) Vail.

Phyllis was born December 29, 1942 in Saint John, New Brunswick. She loved laughing and being at the Lake camping. She loved doing talent shows at the Lake and being around friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, James Lewis Crilley; her children, Edward Laurie Crane(son) and (wife) Kathy Crane of Trenton, Ontario, and Dr. Anastasia Tracy Biggs (Nee Crane) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Adam Andrew Joseph Beckingham, Alexander Zachary Beckingham, Gerald Nikolai Augustus Manford Biggs, Gabriella Samantha Isabel Biggs and Jonathan Crane; great- grandchildren, Neveah Thomas, Carter Hooley and Memphis Hooley. She is predeceased by her mother, Carrie Isabel Vail, her father, Ottie Manford Vail and granddaughter, Sasha Biggs.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Phyllis’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family Funeral Liturgy will take place in Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Ext.
