Obituary of George Gregory

It is with broken hearts that the family of George William Gregory, loving husband of Carolyn “Carol” Gregory, announce his passing on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his residence with Carol by his side. Born in Saint John, NB on November 18, 1949, he was a son of the late Robert and Gertrude (Deakin) Gregory.

George had a passion for gardening and enjoyed spending time tending to his flowers and vegetables. He was known for his sense of humour and could make anyone laugh. He will be missed by his family and friends as well as his many loving canine friends that he had over the years.

George will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carol; son, Christopher Arthur Gregory (Wendy) of Alberta; brothers, Gordon (Carol) of Fredericton and David (Bette-Anne) of Alberta; grandchildren, Ashton, Dylan, Ivy and Christi; brothers-in-law, Arthur and Stephen Comeau; sister-in-law, Theresa Winters; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and special friend, Ruth.

In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his brother, Robert (the late Jean) and his special cousin, Peter Scott.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with George’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue (642-0920). www.BrenansFH.com.
