Obituary of Kiesha Ashley Wood
With broken hearts the family of Kiesha Wood of Coverdale and formerly of Saint John announce her untimely passing, which occurred on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on January 28, 1989 in Saint John, she was a cherished daughter of Tim and Julie (Wood) Holmes of Alberta.
Kiesha devoted her life to caring for her children who were her world. Along with her love of family, she will be fondly remembered for her big sparkling eyes, huge beautiful smile and her famous dimples. Kiesha loved to dance and sing as she enjoyed life’s simplest of pleasures and lived her’s to the fullest.
In addition to her parents, Kiesha will be forever missed by her fiancé, RJ Sharpe of Coverdale; her precious children, Cameron, Tayiah, Dreydan and Maveryk; siblings, Andrew Holmes (Kate-Lynn) of Saint John, Cree-Anne Wood and TJ Holmes (Shelby Dearing) all of Alberta; paternal grandparents, Clarence “Victor” and Sandra Holmes of Quispamsis; five beautiful nieces and nephews, Kiahna, Rachel, Maliyah, Mason and Braxton; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. She was predeceased by her son in infancy, Marcus; maternal grandparents, George and Janet Wood; as well as paternal great-grandparents, Clarence “Big Gramp” and Lena “Big Nan” Holmes.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff with greet and assist you with COVID-19 protocol. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM and will be by invitation only. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed and can be viewed by visiting Kiesha’s obituary on Brenan’s website.
