So sorry to hear of carol’s passing away. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. It was a complete surprise to me on learning this information. I wish I could have had a chance to talk with him. We both had memorable times working together especially on shift work. Carol was always very dependable, loyal and a hard worker. During our lunch meal, Carol would love a good game of cards. During work breaks, Carol would often take notes on our conversations on the napkins (he said he would do this to practice his hand writing). I often think of him and will miss him. My deepest condolences to Joe's family at this time of loss. It was my great fortune to work with Carol (the name we all knew him by at Pt Lepreau) for many years. He was one of the first people I was assigned to train with, and learned a lot from him. His humour is what any of his co-workers will remember the most as we all had more than one of his stories that we retold with lots of shared memories and laughs. I worked with Carol in EI&C Department PT.Lepreau for many years and he was always one to help in any way he could. We shared a lot of laughs at work and outside of work as well. I didn't see him as often as I would like after we both retired but when I did it was like we never missed a beat. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him.
