Dear Don and Family,
My Condolences on Janet's passing. I feel so privileged to have known her, especially as one of her piano students at Bethany. She taught me service playing techniques that made me a better pianist for playing in Worship Services for many years. I remember her as patient, kind and encouraging. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time!

One of my favorite memories of Janet was when my friend David and I went tuna fishing with Janet, Don and Brad off the southern shore of PEI the summer of 2019. Despite her deteriorating physical health, she arrived, looking glamorous. We spent approximately eight hours on the open ocean, and she was right there fishing alongside us, giving the men a good run for their money. It is a memory I will cherish over this lifetime. She truly was an angel who walked the earth amongst us. She will very missed.

I have so many wonderful memories of Janet that I will always hold dear. From the time I was a teenager involved on the worship team at King’s Church until most recently, two summers ago, at Beulah Camp where I got to sing with her once again. My own children would sit on the piano bench next to her when they were very young as we practiced for Sunday worship. Janet loved to laugh. She was so encouraging and wise. We had so many heart to heart talks when I was young. She was a true mentor for me. She will be missed by so many and her impact was immeasurable. To Don, Brad and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love always, Mike & Tracy Ross

Please know you are in our thoughts through this difficult time. Chris and I wish so much we could be there to deliver our condolences in person. I have so many memories of Janet, from talking about boys when I was a teenager, to playing piano at our wedding, to saying goodbye to my Dad not long ago. She was always smiling, always encouraging, always loving, and so full of life. Thankful to know she is more alive than ever today. Chris and I have cherished you both so much through the years, and our hearts are with you today.

Don...the love of your life, sweet Janet. We're so sorry and pass on our condolences to you and the family. There are really no words. Grief is so heavy....but Jesus! Our family just lost our mom June 12th and we can really relate to what you shared re the hospital visits, which just added to the pain. Thank you for letting others know.
I have so many beautiful memories of you both during my 14 yrs. at Kings Valley, Beulah etc. I think the hardest I saw Janet laugh was when she called me into her office to show me a photo of you in that "angel at the tomb" costume. She had tears running down her cheeks! She was funny, loving, serious, thoughtful and so much more....a precious blessing to all who knew her!

Pastor Don and family - We were so sad to hear of Janet's passing. I (Janice) have so many wonderful memories of her from the years I spent in choir. She was always so supportive and caring and made everyone feel appreciated. We had such great times during rehearsals for the Christmas and Easter musicals. Words can't express how much she will be missed by all her knew her. Although I now belong to another church, the memories I have of both you and Janet are very special. We both pray that God will provide his strength and grace to you and yours. Whenever I need comfort or encouragement I always turn to Psalm 121. I pray it will help in this very difficult time. The lyrics to the first song we ever sang together were:
When I was lost He came and found me
It's called mercy
And from my guilt He then unbound me
It's called pardon
And when He sees the way I live
And He can still say I forgive
There's only one way to define it
It's called love
Thank you, Janet (and Don) for who you are. Your love of GOD, commitment to CHRIST and the church is unparalleled.
As I look back over my life I owe you a great debt of gratitude for your belief in me.
Thank you does not express the depth of my gratitude.
The world could use a lot more Janets.
Looking forward to seeing you in Heaven.
