Dear Kate, Becky and Simon, Thinking of you 3 during this difficult time. My heart is with you. I have so many great memories of Dennis during my childhood. His entertaining poolside, never without wine and an array of chips. Endless dinners at your place and ours, trips to Samoset, visits to Chester, the list goes on. I worked with Dennis at the Ward Chipman Library, first as a Student Assistant, then as a Library Technician. I have many good memories of working with him, memories that have remained strong even all these years later. He introduced me to the music of Ella Fitzgerald and I have remained a fan of jazz since then. The Library Science Fiction collection grew under his guidance from insignificant into something that influenced thousands of readers. Thank you Dennis.
