To my Lockerbie family, I would like to express my deepest, heartfelt sympathy in your great loss. Bev, I’m sorry it’s taken me a few days to compose some words of condolences. Weird times, call for weirder measures I guess. To Beth, God love you. It’s been so long since I’ve last seen your face, but still, I see your beautiful smile. You are a remarkable woman who’s endeared so much pain and grief and still you chose to live life to its best possible outcome; that my dear, is the heart of a warrior. When so many would have quit, you fought the battle and did your best to counter all that was thrown your way. That makes me smile. I smile because your strength, faith and desire did not go undetected. You’ve earned your reward and now you reap the benefits. May your soul find peace and may your flame find eternal light. Your time has come, your day is done, but your essence remains forever. Peace out sister.

We are so sorry to hear of Beth's passing. We met when Beth moved to Brentwood Tower and enjoyed many wonderful chats as fellow cat lovers. Our first experience with a 'pet stroller' was Beth taking Sofie for an outing! She kindly visited our furry friend when we were out of town in case he was 'lonesome'. She was a thoughtful and special person who made our little piece of the world a better place. In sorrow. Colin, Helen and Keli O'Leary

I am so very sorry to learn of Beth’s passing. I met Beth when my mom, Joy Keith moved into Brentwood. Mom, Beth and I and others such as Roxy, Lynn, Karen, Lori and Audrey enjoyed TV Bingo on Tuesday evenings at Brentwood. Mom and I and our family all loved Beth, who became affectionately known as Beth Down the Hall (BDTH), we shared lots of laughs, special occasions and times with Sophie at Beth’s place. Beth was an amazing person, so kind, caring and I will never forget how wonderful she was to mom when my mom needed a friend. I will miss Beth.

My family and I have very fond memories of Beth and are very thankful for her friendship with my mom, Sharon. She and Beth grieved the loss of their husbands together; she was a positive force to be around and certainly helped my mother through a difficult time.
I will fondly remember Beth’s giving ways and the way she loved her animals! I believe that she thought licorice was a treat to be shared by all creatures (at least dogs!) and she certainly loved her cat, Sophie. My daughter just decided to adopt a kitten and she wanted Beth to know it was because of her relationship with Sophie that she decided to “give cats a chance”:)
Even though it’s been a while since we have seen Beth, I just wanted to let her family know that she was important to us and I know that she will be missed by many.

Dear Bev and family. There are no words to express how I feel right now. John and I are so very sorry for the loss of your dear sister. Beth was one of a kind. I first met her in 1976 when I was starting out in my insurance career. We worked closely together and I know she is who gave me my deep hearty laugh. Upholding you all in prayer. Beth is now warmly and safely wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus, free of all ailments that held her back. Bless you all. Kathy and John
