Dear Family of Tiina Runkla , It were so sad to learn only recently of the passing our friend Tiina .we were privileged to have met Tiina and her Mother many years ago through our mutual love of their interest in our beloved Cairns , of which we were able to eventually provide Tiina with her faithful little Miku .We enjoyed their visits as did our two year old grand-daughter Hannah who is now Twenty - one , she and Tiina would continue to have their yearly visits at the NBKC. where Tiina would vounteer. We had our final visit under the shade of the big apple tree in our yard with Tiina relaxing in her vehicle we placed our chairs beside her and brought Miku out to visit with us as we chatted . Our memories of that day will be cherished for as long we live .''Precious Memories May They Linger''.

Tina was one of my clinical supervisors during my internship in speech pathology .we later became colleagues when I joined the staff at the Regional Hospital .I was fortunate to have her as a mentor,a colleague and a friend .She is and will be missed .

Tiina and I were friends since before elementary school and we kept in touch regularly throughout the many years. A wonderful person. Kind, honest, generous, always with a smile and a positive outlook. I always looked forward to Tiina's emails and the origami works she sent at Christmas. Tiina enjoyed her life and had an energy and imagination that could inspire everyone who knew her. I miss my friend. I am fortunate to have enjoyed Tiina's friendship for so many years. Rein

So very sorry to hear of Tiina's passing.She was such a special lady and an inspiration to so many. Despite her many physical challenges she was always upbeat and saw the positive side of every situation. Tiina and I shared many stories and laughs. She will be missed.

To Tina’s family, So sorry to learn of Tina’s passing. I knew her from working at the SJRH, as well as her Mum, both genuine, friendly ladies. Tina loved to laugh, and we shared our laughter together. May you Rest In Peace Tina.
