Obituary of Ken Cogswell
We are very sad to share the news that Kenneth W. Cogswell, beloved husband of Judy Cogswell, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at his home in the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home, after a battle with a debilitating disease called Multisystem Atrophy (MSA). Born July 10, 1945, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Kenneth Lee and Mildred Edna (Wilson) Cogswell.
Ken touched many lives with his upbeat spirit and friendly smile. He always made others smile and made their days better. He always liked hearing what was going on with family and friends. You always knew he was around from the large Canadian Flag on his wheelchair and one of his hats from his collection.
Besides his loving wife, Judy, Ken will be missed by his sons, Rob (Lisa) and Scott (Shannon); grandson, Chase Livingstone; his sister, Jeannette Jonah (Doug); and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were under the direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Cremation has taken place, and a service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.BrenansFH.com.
