Obituary of Lawrence Raymond Moore
MOORE, Lawrence Raymond –
The family of Lawrence Moore announce his passing on December 15, 2021 at his home in Black River. He is predeceased by his wife Shirley Moore and is the son of the late John & Marion Moore. He was born on July 6, 1927.
He is survived by his children Stanley (May), Raymond (Tara), Sandra (Doug), Paul (Charlene) & Hollis (Kim). He had 13 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren. Brothers Bev, Carol, Ray & Liz. Sisters Marilyn “Tootie” Bennett & Irene “Renie”. Sisters-in-law Marjorie, Doris & many nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Holly, brother David, Chesley, Paul, Glennie.
Lawrence worked as a self-employed loader operator in his gravel pit in Black River. He was a warden for 27 years at St. Thomas Church in Black River. Lifetime member of the Seaview Community Club and a member of the conservative party. The family would like to thank the nurses at KV Extramural for all their help & kindness.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1 – 4 pm & 5 – 8 pm with the funeral service on Monday, December 20, 2021 will be **PRIVATE** due to Covid-19 capacity limits. The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all those 12 and older attending the service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of a government-issued ID or proof of medical exemption. Interment at St. Thomas Cemetery in Black River, NB. Donations may be made to The Parish of Fundy and the Lakes (St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery) and/or the charity of the donor’s choice.
