To John and the entire family. I was very sorry to learn of Carol's passing, only just this morning. There were of group of students at UNB that spent a lot of time together. Numerous faculties were represented, a few rugby players, some hockey players and of course, the nurses. Laughter and healthy energy were always the bond. Carol would either be the root of the laughter or at the least a tremendous audience. While I am sorry to hear of Carol's passing, I am certain that heaven has become more fun, there are more people smiling and many who feel blessed that Carol has joined their ranks. Sending everyone warm thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs Doucet, John and Families,
Mike and I were so very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Carol. It has been many years since seeing any of you however we both have fond memories of you all especially today of Carol and her infectious smile and joyous spirit. After reading Carol’s obituary it is no surprise to read she had gone on from those young teenage years when we knew her to become a wonderful women, mother, colleague and friend to many. We watched the video tribute and hope you all carry with you the same heartwarming feeling we had seeing so many beautiful memories flash by. Praying you find comfort in holding those cherished memories along with Carol’s warm, beautiful smile close to your hearts in the days, weeks, months and years to come, while knowing she is always by your side.
Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time,
Pam & Mike Clark

To Michael and family:
Vary sad news to read about Carol's death. She was taken from you much too soon. Carol was an employee of ours as a student in the late 1970's when Jim Hutton and I operated Kennebecasis Drugs. We had just moved to the present location and Jim distinctly remembers Carol blowing up balloons for the 'new' opening. She was a pleasure to work with. She usually had a smile and was cordial with our customers and ready and willing to be of service. She also had a wealth of talent as described in her obituary. She will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew her.
I have made a donation to Hospice Greater Saint John in her honour.

To Carol's much-loved family,
My deepest sympathy on this loss of such an amazing woman. I knew Carol when we were both chaperones for the 2011 NBYO trip to Vienna. She was unfailingly cheerful, upbeat, supportive and enthusiasm - her presence was uplifting for all of us, and made a real difference when people were weary or stressed. I'm sure she brought her infectious enthusiasm to everything she undertook, but most especially to her family. She lived her faith, and made the world a better place for everyone who knew and loved her.

How can mere words convey the love, admiration and respect that I feel toward this beautiful human being? Her passion for life, her love of family and friends is immeasurable. Carol quickly embraced my family when we met her in 2009. The way the Lord immediately and beautifully entwined our hearts and our lives was beautiful. Carol quickly became a weekend mom to my kids and we spent beautiful times praying for our children. Believing the Lord had each one of them in His hand. Her faith and perseverance was remarkable. Her love endless, her joy contagious! My life, enriched by her friendship now has a void but is filling with hope and joy knowing I will see her again! I miss you my friend….

Mike, Serenna, Ben, Luke, and Grace, I am deeply saddened for you all as the loss of Carol is so immense. Many conversations, laughter, and tears shared with her, she was a light in this world. I watched the photos posted and the same theme in every picture, the evidence of how deeply Carol loved her family. She always spoke of each of her children with such love and tenderness. How deeply I will miss her until we see her again in Heaven. May we be as bold as Carol in sharing the Hope she so unashamedly shared with others. I count it a joy to have called her friend. Praying for you all in the coming days…

Dear Mike and Carol's loved ones, I was lucky enough to work with Carol on a project 30 years ago. She was such a bright spark, and had the most marvellous sense of humour. I moved to the West Coast of Canada and hadn't been in touch with Carol or Mike in decades, but this morning, I couldn't get Carol out of my mind. I thought I would check the internet to see if I could find her contact details to touch base, and I was shocked to see that she had passed. Because Carol and I were sick with Chemical & Environmental Sensitivities during the time we collaborated together, we had a few deep conversations. She was so supportive of people in their quest to manifest their most heartfelt wishes, helping all of us to strive for the highest good ... and I know that her spirit will keep prodding us to manifest our dreams. My sincere condolences for your loss. Carol has added so much beauty to the world. Carole Paquin

Lilah loved Carol and has wonderful memories of time spent at your home and with Carol driving the girls around and the special chats she had with them. One that stands out to Lilah was Carol describing her heaven.❤ We are thinking about and praying for you all in this most difficult time... especially you, Grace. I am shocked, saddened and heart broken to hear of Carol’s passing. I have memories of the grade nine friend with the perfect “Farrah Fawcett” hair. I had the pleasure of calling her friend through high school and University. As life has it, our lives went off in different directions after school. We would meet occasionally at the grocery store or about town. That smile, though never changed in all those years. Always happy to see you and share a laugh. She will be missed by so many.

To Mike, Serenna, Ben, Luke, Grace and the rest of Carol's family: My heart breaks with all of yours at the loss of this amazing woman. I remember every single NBYO weekend where I got to see the Carol's smile and adventurous attitude, especially when we were on the trip to Europe back in 2011. Through that trip, I saw the adventurous, fun-loving woman that God had made her into and, while that hole will never be enough to fill, I know that that same spirit is and will forever be shown through all of you. My deepest prayers and condolences as you all go through this difficult time; May her memory be a light that shines throughout each and every one of your lives.
