Hi Mary Beth- It was nice to see you at Brenan's the other day. My daughter Millica is having some trouble with her computer, so she asked me to pass on to you and yours her condolences. She remembers how hospitable your Mom was to her and her brother and sister when I used to bring them by at Norton many years ago.

My heart goes out to you and your family Mary Beth at this sad and difficult time. She was a very special lady who spread joy and goodwill wherever she went. We had some great times together when she came to NB for the summers when we were kids. She was my special American cousin. What a wonderful tribute you wrote for your parents. Hang onto all those great memories. God bless you all.

The connection between the Taylor family and ours goes back to 1970’s when we moved to Anderson Drive, just down the street from Mary and Bill Taylor. Bill’s company, R.A. Woods had a wonderful reputation for their business, undertaking many projects for our family over the years, with which we were always very pleased and satisfied.
As neighbours, we also shared many connections, as well as through our children, our church, schools and politics. We recall that Mary was very highly regarded professionally for her work in the insurance industry.
We later entertained Mary and her brother and family in Florida, knowing how much she valued maintaining family connections.
Every time we pass by Norton, we are reminded of them and their meticulously maintained home by the river. To Mary Beth and family we offer our prayers and sympathy. Your support and presence in Mary’s life no doubt brought her much joy and happiness right to her final moments. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, Jane, David and the Barry Family

My deepest sympathy on the passing of your Dear Mother Mary, in the Summer of 1976 My Dad Dick Dowd (who died in 1977) & my Brother John & I were guests at Your Dad & Mom's Wedding in Providence Rhode Island. I also had the honor of sharing the dance floor with your Mom at the Wedding Reception. Bill & Mary really complimented each other and our family were so pleased to witness their Union in Marriage. Your Dad was a very close friend of my father in the mid 1970's.
Best regards,
Peter Dowd

Mary Beth,
May the many great memories of both your mother and father carry you through this difficult time. Your job now is to keep their memory alive in the same manner your mother kept the many memories of her family alive through her many stories of her experiences while growing up between Rhode Island and New Brunswick. I am confident that you and your daughter will enjoy all the memories you have to share. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

She will be so missed. We had many good laughs on their visits to the lake and our suppers in Norton. Her hospitality was unmatched. She and Robert would reminisce about the old days at the Moosehorn and his visits to Rhode Island and some of the shenanigans that went on. So very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear the passing of your dear mother. Mary Beth; we had so much fun when the Cartys and Cummings would land at the Moosehorn . Grandma would put us to work picking berries and helping Uncle Clarence in the garden. After that we would be allowed to have a unsupervised swim in the Moosehorn .
Take care of yourself, this will not be a easy journey.
