So sorry for the families loss. John was friends with my Papa, and when I brought my dog Anna in to visit (100lbs chocolate lab) she would kiss John all over his face and he would laugh and have such a huge smile. Rest In Peace

Marilyn and Shirley and families......I was shocked when I got word of John's passing. I was a tenant on the floor where John did all of his puzzles. I was always telling him some kind of story, as I loved to watch him laugh. My biggest memory of course is when someone gave him that Van Gogh puzzle and said he would never be able to put that one together! Well they didn't know John's determination or patience to sit for hours on end placing each piece until it was finished. I told him that when it was finished, I wanted to take a picture of the finished product for all to see. This is the very picture of the finished puzzle and John's very proud smile. I will miss him very much as well as all of his many friends. Thank you for your Service John, and all of the laughs, we will never forget you.......

Today I lost my big brother -my last brother. Growing up we shared many good times. He taught me to play crib and he gave me money to go to school dances. He and his bothers-in-law had many good times on their hunting and fishing adventures and playing tricks on one another. He was a kind, gentle person, dearly loved by his family. I hold in my heart and trust him to God's care.
