dear judy, i miss my dear friend tommy, i was his realtor for many yrs, visited he and barb many times, great people to deal with. later on he married my friend judy. i would see them both around our town doing their kindness. that will be no more, so i will keep my memories of our laughs. tommy's ads on the radio where always a classic. i could talk about anything with him mostly the people we knew and admired. there is a miss in my steps now when i walk into walmart. he was a loyal client. and i am proud to say i knew him. god bless his children, he was so proud of them.

To the Isaac family: My sincere condolences on the passing of Tommy. I first met Tommy when I started working for Willett Foods. Tommy was always our go to guy when we were overstocked on anything. He would negotiate the best deal he could so he could pass the savings on to his customers. This relationship went on for many years . I loved Tommy's adds on the radio. He was the only guy that could stretch his 1 minute paid time slot to 3. When Tommy went to work for Wal-Mart I would make a point to go out and see him as we would get caught up on current events and also go down memory lane. A true gentleman and friend. I will miss him !! God Bless Scott Macknight

It is clearly a tribute to his life, that so many people have known and loved him. Tommy was a marketing maverick by embracing live radio before it was popular. Who will ever forget his call ins radio ads ...."weiners for .99 cents a pound" or his Family Paks - 10 lbs bacon, 10 lbs ground chuck; 10 pounds pork and so on. Not one to sit idle, he wasn't content to become a couch potato in retirement so he kept the human touch as the Walmart greeter. I'm happy to say that I had a grand chat with Tommy at Walmart just before Christmas, and he was so tickled with his daughter and granddaughter's retail store named for him. It will be his legacy for years to come. Tracey, Tom, John & families - please accept our heartfelt condolences on the death of your father. He has such a large extended family that mourn his loss as well. Can't you just see him wheeling & dealing at the pearly gates! Please find strength in the family and community support you all have.

I’d known him all my life due to his friendship with my father and weekly trips to Tommy’s Superette as a child and then as an adult.
After retirement, I’d often see Tommy at Sarah's Café around the corner from his old butcher shop, and enjoy a chat… him, always with a smile and in a great mood.
Tommy was such a great guy I'm glad to have had the pleasure of knowing him.

Very sorry to hear this sad news. “Uncle Tommy” has been a part of my life since I was born. Uncle Tom holds a very special place in my heart. I will always remember him as a tremendous family man that was caring and generous with a huge heart.
When you hear of people that would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it ??? Uncle Tom was that guy.
I have many fond memories of Christmas and birthday parties spent with Tommy, Barb , Tom jr, Tracy and John. Or my mom & dad having Uncle Tom and Barb over to our house for coffee and hearing them at kitchen table telling stories and laughing.
Uncle Tom gave me my first job as “stock boy” at Tommy’s Superette on Westmorland Road.
In 1994 Uncle Tom gave me $40.00 and wished me “good luck” on the day that I was leaving home in Saint John for military training … that gesture meant a lot to me and I always appreciated it.
My sincere condolences go out to Tom jr. , Tracy, John and all of the Isaac family.

I was met with a big smile a kind heart and a willigness to help me and the club in any way he could.
This began an over 30 year relationship where we became friends and did business together . It is without any doubt that Tommy was a giving and loving person. In all the years I knew him until the last time I saw him at the Walmart he always was warm and caring to me and my family.
The world needs to follow his example to be there when needed without any agenda other than to do the best they can to meet your needs..

My condolences to the family. Tommy was a wonderful man. When I was young I used to go to the meat shop for Bologna and later when I started working just down the road at Robins Donuts he was one of my favorite regulars. He always had a smile for me, I'll miss seeing him when I'm out and about. Rest easy sir ❤️

I've had the pleasure of knowing Tom for many years, from going to the meat shop to having him come work with me at Walmart,we had many talks and he always asked me for a hand to fix his name badge at work,he was such a nice greeter and loved to chat to everyone that came in to shop. I was working up front putting out Easter plush and he came to help me while it was quiet at the door,he took a liking to the biggest bunny we sold. I took this picture and we both had a laugh. Rest easy Tom, I'm gonna miss you

I have known Tommy since he started working at O'Reilly's Meat Market back in the mid 60s. Shopped at his own markets on Westmoreland Road and in the Rifle Range. Tommy was always good to myself and wife and we enjoyed our banter at his store. So long, Tommy, you will be missed.

Dearest Judy, my heart is heavy for you, sweetie. "Tommy" was such a kind man...he was blessed to have you as his companion in later life, and you made him very happy. He was my late wife's all-time favourite meat man, and she loved it when he called her "misses", and flashed that wonderful smile after he wrapped everything up(!) Later, we were delighted to get to know Tom personally in Trinity's Alpha program, where he shared his life's history, and we gained this fine man as a Church friend. More recently it was always fun to connect at Walmart, as he was the best 'greeter' they ever had. His love for people helped make him the special person that he was. (I am honoured to be in charge of music at your Tommy's funeral)...many, many hugs from Spence.

From all the Menniers, to all of Tom Sr.'s family, our deepest condolences on your loss. What a great guy! Growing up in our neighbourhood in Forest Hills, it would not have been the same without Tommy - always positive, always giving a helping hand, always trying to put a smile on someone's face. Some of the best laughs I've ever had were at Tom's house, or helping around Tommy's Superette, running bags of goods out to customers' cars. Everyone knew and loved Tommy. God bless.

Our sincere condolences to Tommy's family. You had a great Dad! We first met Tommy at his meat shop and as my Dad had been a butcher with a shop, after coming out of the Army, we always had a lot to talk about. He was always very sociable and glad to see us come in from Hampton. Then when he sold the shop we missed those visits and chats but were so happy to run across him at Walmart. He never failed to enquire about our health and especially when I went in one day without Paul, he was shocked to hear of him being in hospital. From then on, when he saw us together, a big smile came on his face and he would give us a friendly greeting saying, look after each other! We will miss you Tommy :( May you now rest in peace. <3
