Obituary of Carmen Alice Pearson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Carmen Alice Pearson, daughter of the late Alice Knox Miller and Vernon Curtis Pearson.
Our mother was a woman of sharp wit and a relentless spirit. Carmen was not shy to give her honest opinion or exacting criticisms. Carmen was the single parent of four children Stefanie, Sarah, Sandy, and Nellie, and for a short time a stepmom to Jodie, Jamie, and Michael (Hector). Carmen had a generous love for the Hartt children, Alisha, Natasha, Krichet, Donna, Tara, and Troy who were cared for and loved by our mother.
Carmen was the grandmother of Jillian, Adam, Deanna, Erin, Robin, Joshua, Ethan, Jamin, Racheal, Lee, Kayla, Darien, Brawley, Makye, Torrance. The great grandparent of Rhobyn, Maddyson, Olivia, Silas, Penelope, Chandler, Kanan, Lincoln, and Ryker. The big sister of Suzanna and the late Elizabeth Hankovsky. Aunt of Jared (Robin) Hankovsky and great aunt of little Zoey.
Our mother was a woman who knew her mind and did things her way. She had many trials and tribulations that hindered her but never stopped her love for Jehovah and the door-to-door ministry being the focus of her later years. She would reminisce about her grandmother Medah and wished to see her again, as she awaited the resurrection hope Acts 24:15, so we will take mom to rest with her grandmother at Riverbank Cemetery in Apohaqui NB come spring.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424).
