Obituary of Heather Ann Clayton

It is with broken hearts that the family of Heather Ann Clayton announce her passing on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 18, 1962, in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Cora (Whitney) McCumber and Arnold McCumber.

Heather will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Murray; daughter, Brandi Clayton; sisters, Debbie Lavigne (Victor), Cathy Pridham and Gail Durant (Kendall); brother, Terry McCumber (Bonnie); sisters-in-law, Deanna Chambers (David), Crystal Bennet and Jean Hatfield; brother-in-law, Todd Clayton (Trena); 15 nieces and nephews; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Heather was also predeceased by her son, Murray “Travis”; brother, Rodney and infant sister, Christine.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visitation on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A private Funeral Service will take place from Brenan’s chapel.  Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all those 12 and older attending the visitation and service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government-issued ID or proof of medical exemption. Interment will take place at a later date.
