As is often the case with the mother of a close friend, Carolyn was like an aunt to me. In the many years as a kid in RedHead she always made her home feel like a second home to me and welcomed me for many sleep overs with James - occasionally kicking us out to go sleep in the tent! She taught me how to make an individual pizza, the fine art of having a big enough starting float in the till for a yard sale, and the hard lesson that if I leave stuff lying around it may not be there when I get back; she once called the police to take my new bike away because she didn’t recognize it after I threw it behind the hedge while running late for the bus… so yes, a hard lesson but one that apparently stuck with me.
To James, Connie, Maria, Adam, and Becca, I’m sorry for your loss and hope this time of grief can be filled with great memories from times past of your mom / grandmother.
With sympathy,
Terry

James, John & family,
So sorry for your loss. My Mom had been friends with Carolyn for many years way back to days of camping at Mt. Pleasant and high school at Vocational School. They enjoyed lunches, trips to the hairdresser and lunches before Carolyn got sick.
Know that we forget the comfort we take when they are still here alive with us even if we don't see them often. They will surprise you from the other side every now and then to bring you a smile. Stay open to it.
Heats and prayers are with you all!
Big hugs,
Shirley and Sue Corscadden

I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of Carolyn,I knew her when she was Carolyn Quigg we went to school together at Saint John Vocational and we also went to the prom together. Carolyn was one of the kindest people I have ever known. When I was young we didn't have much Carolyn and I were pretty much the same size so she would always make sure I had good clothes to go to the dances at school with or the prom, she always went out of her way to see I was never left out. We grew apart and for the last month, I thought of her often and never knew where she was.I am so very sorry I never got the chance to say goodbye to my kind-hearted friend . She will be extremely missed by those who really knew and loved her.I'm sure she has a very special place in God's Heaven. ..Goodbye for now my dear friend, God Bless you for all your kindness and love and I know he will.....................................Until we meet again/ Diane Nodwell,214,1150,Saint John,NB

Dear James, Connie, Maria, Adam, Becca, John and Alissa, We are sending our deepest condolences, love and prayers to you. Carolyn was such a wonderful friend (and family member) to us and we treasure many beautiful memories of her! Jack, Carolyn and I had some adventurous trips together, including Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Maine and even New York City! Shopping was top priority on her list and she always found special gifts for her 3 beloved grandchildren. Carolyn’s amazing sense of humour and penchant for adventure brought us much laughter and joy. We even flew in a helicopter over the lovely red rock formations in Sedona, Arizona!! Carolyn sat in the front seat along with the pilot, enjoying every minute of our flight! Carolyn was so proud of her family! We will miss her very much and may God bless. Much love, Marg and Jack
