Obituary of Rita Ethel Howell

Peacefully at her residence, with family by her side, on Sunday, March 20^th, 2022, Rita Ethel Howell (nee Williams) of Saint John passed away at the age of 65.

Beloved wife of the late William Thomas Howell (2014).

Rita is survived by her sons Eddie Mullett (Joyce Osborne), Michael Williams (Jennifer) and their 9 nine children, her daughter Shelly Williams (David Masocato) and her children Jennifer Shatford, Brandon Law, Tia-Marie Law, Kristian Williams, Summer Williams, and Lucas Williams.

The many memories of Rita will no doubt be shared with her four great-grandchildren in the years to come.

Besides her parents, the late Ernest and Dorcus Williams (nee Mahoney), Rita was predeceased by her 12 siblings.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424). A Committal Service for Rita will be held on Monday, April 11^th, 2022, at Fernhill Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome to meet at Brenan’s Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row) at 10:30 AM to process over to the cemetery.
