Obituary of David Fox
It is with broken hearts that the family of David H. Fox announce his passing on March 30th, 2022, in his home, surrounded by family in Grand Bay, NB. David was born on March 19th, 1956, in Saint John, to his parents Harry and Olive (nee Muir) Fox.
David met the love of his life, Karen Fox (nee Leslie), in grade 5 and enjoyed a long and loving marriage of 46 years with her. He was a loving and wise father to his children: Jeffery Fox, Trevor Fox, Christa Deschenes (Matthew, his favourite son-in-law), and Kimberly Fox. He loved having his family around him and going on adventures with all of them. Our lives are filled with wonderful memories and moments that we will forever cherish.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he often said, “You know, you should start with grandkids”. He took great delight in having them close and spending time with them. Ax Fox, Charlotte Fox, Olivia, Adalyn and Owen Deschenes. He loved them all deeply, they brought him great joy.
David worked for the telephone company for 32 years. He enjoyed his job and the co-workers who left impressions on his life. He retired as a Senior Business Analyst and went back to work climbing poles, the way he started his career. He has close friends who imprinted his life, he cherished those relationships and wonderful times of fellowship talking about the Lord and His goodness. Social media helped him connect to many people over the past few years as he became less mobile. He always had a way with words and making anything into a witty story.
David is survived by his wife Karen, his four children, his five grandchildren, his sisters Linda Fox and Debra Noel, his many nieces and nephews, great nephews, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Harry and Olive, sister Larraine Perry, and nephew Scott Guthrie.
Although we are heartbroken, we take great comfort in knowing that David is now rejoicing with his saviour and whole again in glory.
