Obituary of Brian Vincent Marshall
With heavy hearts, the family of Brian Marshall announce his unexpected passing, which occurred on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born November 14, 1949, in Saint John, he was a son of the late Winslow and Eileen (Moore) Marshall.
A great storyteller, Brian had a gift of reading, writing, and captivating his audience with a great tale. Most of his working life was spend driving for Vets Taxi, and he could be found fishing, hunting, and tinkering with model cars or creating art while not driving.
In addition to the love of his life, Linda Young, Brian will be missed by his daughters, Tammy Hunter (Richard) and Julie Pye (Jeff); his son, John Coulton (Candace); brother, Brent (Brenda); 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Dwight.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 10 am from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
