Obituary of Kenneth Legassick
The death of Rev. Kenneth Legassick of the Admiral Beatty Complex, Saint John, husband of Pauline V. (Seely) Legassick, occurred unexpectedly on Friday, March 7, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Kingsbridge, England, he was the son of the late Herbert and Winnifred (Steer) Legassick. Rev. Legassick was an Anglican Priest, serving at Christ Church, Campbellton, NB and Trinity Anglican Church, Saint John for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany and was a former Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, David of Willow Grove and Stephen (Mary Jane) of Nepean, ON, one daughter, Ann MacEacheron (Ian) of Fredericton, grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Julia and Kathleen Legassick and Allison and Carly MacEacheron, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Janet Lynn Legassick and three brothers, Herbert, Desmond and David Legassick Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Lakeside Anglican Church Cemetery, Hampton, at a later date.
