Obituary of Marven E. Corscadden
The death of Marven Corscadden Sr., age 75, of Maces Bay, NB, husband of Ina (Donally) Corscadden, occurred on Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Maces Bay, NB, he was the son of the late John and Beulah (Belding) Corscadden. In addition to working for CP Rail as a trucker for 30 years, he worked as a lobster fisherman and carpenter. He was an avid hunter and accomplished mechanic that enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Marven will be sadly missed by his loving wife and family, he is survived by sons Brian of Toronto, Ontario, Blair (Mandy) of Saint John, NB, Marven Jr. (Cynthia) of Saint John, NB, Kevin (Stacey) of Blacks Harbour, NB, Robert of Windsor, Ontario and Craig of Maces Bay, NB, daughter Cathy (Mike) LeBlanc of Tusket, NS and step-daughter Debbie (Larry) Doucette of Saint John, NB, brother Ray (Shirley) of Maces Bay, sisters Lyda (Addison) Emery of St. George, NB, Mona (Willard) McCormack of Saint John, NB, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Claude, Ansel, Audley, Elvin, John and sister Elsie. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday, June 26 and 27, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 28, 2003 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held in Maces Bay Community Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
