Obituary of Doreen Drew

The death of Doreen Drew of Saint John, NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Saint John, the daughter of the late Tom and Carrie Lasher. Doreen had been employed at the Red Rose Tea Factory. Having been a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she will be sadly missed by son, Bob (Lynda) of Rothesay, NB; daughters, Charlene Drew of Saint John, NB and Donna (Bob) Cobbett of Saint John, NB; grandchildren, Shalon, Ryan, Adam, Brad and Justin; and great-grandchild, Cameron. Doreen was predeceased by her husband, Charles Drew. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday, August 27, from 7-9 pm and Thurday, August 28, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 1:00 pm from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery. Memorial Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
