Obituary of H. Aubrey Cox
The death of Mr. H. Aubrey Cox, formerly of Pauline Street, Saint John, husband of Margaret M. (Power) Cox, occurred on Monday, February 3, 2003, at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late H. Wilfred and Helen B. (Dann) Cox. Mr. Cox was a veteran of World War II serving with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was formerly employed with General Dairies and owned and operated Cox's Store on the Loch Lomond Road for many years. Before his retirement Aubrey was employed with the City of Saint John Recreation and Parks Department at Rockwood Park. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife, Margaret, two sons, Larry and Paul (Barbara), one daughter, Lee Ann Toner (Robert), all of Saint John, two sisters, Isabelle Titus (Donald) of Saint John and Norma Vallis of Fredericton, seven grandchildren, Jeff, Ryan, Joel, Jill and Erin Cox and Patty and Lori Toner, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim's Church, Loch Lomond Road, Saint John on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the Loch Lomond Villa Alzheimer Unit would be appreciated by the family. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a tribute to a Veteran service on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. www.brenansfh.com
