Obituary of Gayle Jennifer Maxwell
It is with broken hearts that the family of Gayle Jennifer Maxwell (nee Pedersen) announce her sudden passing on Monday, June 27th, 2022. Born in Plaster Rock, NB, on July 3rd, 1960. Gayle was the daughter of Herluf and Reta Pedersen.
Gayle was a bright and a wonderful woman who lit up a room as soon as she entered. With the natural ability to make those around her feel comfortable, Gayle could strike up a conversation easily with anyone she met. Working in real-estate for 30 plus years at Remax, alongside her husband David’s side, she was loved by all her friends, colleagues, and clients.
Gayle’s love extended to her dogs, especially her cocker spaniels.
Gayle gravitated to water and enjoyed the river. She would spend as much time as she could on her boat, enjoying the beaches in Florida, and watching the sunset with a glass of wine.
Gayle is survived by her loving husband David; Mother Reta; step-daughters Tracey (André) and Candace (Chris); sisters Donna, Vicki (Eric), Lisa (Willem), and Paula (Anthony); step-grandson Tyler; step-granddaughter Katrina; nieces and nephews: godson Mark (Stephanie), Kara (Kory), Tyler, Andrew, David (Dayna), Matthew, Jenna, Danielle, and Nicole; great nieces and nephews Rylee, Madden, and Adley; as well as many friends. She is predeceased by her father Herluf.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 4th, 2022, starting at 3:00pm at Brenan’s Paradise Row Chapel.
