Obituary of Shannon Furlong

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness the family of Shannon Lee Furlong, born in Saint John, NB, on March 5, 1983, announces her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 30, 2022. She was the daughter of Sandra Furlong and Art Hogan.

Shannon will be missed by her parents, her five children: Malik Breau, Kaydence, Xavier, Braxton and Bryce (Jr.) Peters, her sisters, Shyanne Furlong and Brandi Foreman, brother, Michael Craig, and her maternal grandmother, Gloria Furlong along with several nieces and nephews.  Shannon also has extended family on the Hogan Family side.    

She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Lloyd Furlong, and paternal grandmother, Paulina Hogan.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation Wednesday, July 6, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, in the Brenan’s Chapel beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery following the service. Donations in memory of Shannon may be made to Sophia House or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
