Obituary of Flo Goodin
The death of Flo Goodin of Saint John occurred on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on April 16, 1946 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Doris (Ferguson) Godin.
Flo was employed with Agnus-Miller Insurance for 33 years. This was a career she truly enjoyed and where many friendships were made. Flo aka “Miss Fix It” could fix anything she touched. She enjoyed working around the yard with Raymond and always took pride in keeping her cars spotless.
Flo will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Raymond Goodin (Cathy); sisters, Claudette McLeod and Viola McCallum; sister-in-law, Joan Goodin; several nieces and nephews; as well as her best friend, Bev. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Norbert and a brother in infancy, Frank.
The Goodin family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Flo’s nurse practitioner, Vicky Mills, her oncologist, Dr. Gray and her palliative care physician, Dr. Wildish along with the team of Bobby’s Hospice for the exceptional care, guidance and support that was always provided to Flo.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM and will be immediately followed by a Celebration of Flo’s Life beginning at 10:00 AM all from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those wishing to attend the visitation and service, masks will be mandatory. A private interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, remembrances made to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
