Dear Susan and family, we are saddened to hear of your Dad’s death. We know that it is a difficult time for you. Your were the “ apple of your Dad’s eye”. I grew up in the same neighborhood as he and we have been friends for many years. We have shared many great times together when your Mother was living. Your Dad was a tease and he always tried to get my goat. We are sorry that we couldn’t be with you at the service tomorrow. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Susan, we were so sorry to have heard of your dads passing. Although I personally haven’t seen him in quite some time, both he and your mom were special people to the “Friars” family. Our years of playing together when I visited Nanny & Grampy came rushing back when I heard the news; they were such fun times. Susan and family so sorry to here of Bobs passing he was a great neighbour for over 18 years and are going to miss our chats about the garden and our flowers.Really going to miss spraying you when you would come out and we wouldn’t see him start watering the garden and we would here hey I am in the tree,we had a laugh he finally would come to fence say going to sit by tree. How he always come out when my son and husband started their ATV’s , we say come on over have a look sometimes he would especially the time my son smashed his up he was so funny now just how you going to drive that .Rest easy our friend. What a wonderful story about my dad...thanks for sharing. I know he would have gotten a kick out of getting sprayed with the garden hose. He told me all about the backyard chats. He loved the ATVs. Thank you.
