Obituary of Gail Seale

You meant so much to all of us.  You are special and that’s no lie.  You brightened up the darkest day and the cloudiest sky.  Your smile alone warmed hearts.  Your laugh was like music to hear.  Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.  You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.                                                                                                         

The family of Gail Seale of Saint John, sadly announce her untimely passing, which occurred on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born in Saint John on December 25, 1959, Gail was a daughter of Alice (Haines) Seale and the late Lionel Seale.

In addition to her mother, Alice, Gail is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Arnold Seale (Christine), Robbi Seale (Paul) and Renee MacGowan (Darrell); as well as special niece and nephew, Abby and Jamie MacGowan.  Besides her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Randy and brother-in-law, Imrich Kiraly.

Gail lived a life full of hard work but the simplest pleasures in life brought joy to her.  She loved to create, fix, mend, motorcycle, garden, bonfires, dance, play the guitar and joke around.  Gail had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities.  Her pleasant caring personality was contagious to everyone she met. She made the time to show up for everyone, providing friendship, care, counseling and allowed everyone to be seen and heard and that they mattered.  Gail wanted to brighten lives: a legacy that will be carried by all who have had the honour to encounter, know or share any part of her large wonderous personality.

Our loss is immeasurable but so is the love left behind.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A celebration of Gail’s life will take place from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 6:00 PM.  Interment will take place at a later date in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
